Maya(sp?) was terrific-deserves a day off with pay-helped me with my shoes, filling out the form, answered my stupid questions, and was just overall terrific and ,me being handicapped, she was sensitive to my needs and therefore she helped me a lot! The Doctor was out of this world...she answered all my questions in a way that I could understand, was very very gentle, understanding, and listened to me tentatively!!! I had a very good office visit with the entire staff! When I entered the reception area it was quite filled up with people waiting. I went to the checkin window and was greeted nicely and paid my copay. I sat down & completed a common form thinking this is going to be a long wait? I couldn’t believe how quickly the room emptied and suddenly I was next! They are very efficiently organized here. This is my 4-5th? visit with Dr. Au. I couldn’t be happier to be helped by this Doctor’s Office. Doctor Au is caring, clearly ready to get to it as he remembers the previous visits. I am very at ease with Doctor. I could go on but my comments would be too long. I have to say that compared to 4 different Dermatologists in or near my hometown in CT, I am finally getting cared of properly! I recently made the switch to Clearview and I couldn't be happier. I've seen a handful of dermatologist throughout the years and these offices collaboratively have given me the kindest, most informative, professional skill and attention I have ever experienced at any medical facility. I had tried to begin a very strict medication a year ago back in May 2022. After 7 attempts to coordinate with my old dermatologist offices to process my registration I gave up and called Clearview. They got me an appointment within a few weeks, the staff was super friendly and even remembered me on my second visit! They walked me through all the steps for this strict registration and side effects of medication to where I had a full history lesson and no questions remained. Knowing how and why are always important to me so I appreciate the additional lengths they went to. I was going to lose masshealth in the near future but was mislead about the time-frame this would happen. In the final stages of registering for my medication I found out I was no longer covered. I did everything I could to get a new insurance reinstated as fast as possible while this new script was waiting at the pharmacy with a $400 out of pocket cost. When I thought I had no more options I called Clearview and they were on top of it, I couldn't have asked for better assistance. They even provided me with alternative pharmacies with lower out of pocket costs. If you haven't heard of Apotheca check them out too. By the eleventh hour when I had already waited a full year to get started on this medication it all pulled through and I couldn't have done without the assistance of the doctors and staff at Clearview. They're great here, I brought my son, who's special needs in a few months ago to have a growth of skin on his eyelid checked out, I was told to keep an eye on it (no pun intended) and to call if needed. I ended up having to call them, because all of a sudden the growth of skin had gotten bigger. There was some schedule finagling to try to get him seen that day. The office receptionist, Mandy, called me to let me know of a cancellation they had (thank you Mandy) and he was able to be seen by Jessica Cosenza certified P.A. that same day. Jessica was wonderful with my son, she was able to remove the skin growth from he's eyelid so fast, that he didn't even know it had been done, which was no small feat, since my son sometimes doesn't understand the importance of staying still during ,a procedure such as this so I was grateful that she was able to do it so quickly. I was seen by Dr Au who diagnosed the skin condition, sent samples out to be tested and prescribed medication to apply to my legs. The test results came back quickly and the medication cleared up the skin condition within a week. Follow up visits for skin cancer screening addressed early detection for skin damage caused by sun exposure. Dr Smith has done 2 MOHS procedures for me - one in Wellesley office and one in West Roxbury. He was great! He explained to me what he was doing and scars are minimal. I didn't talk a lot to Wellesley office staff so can't comment but my regular dermatologist is in West Roxbury and they are great! More

Have had two mohs procedures done by Dr. Smith. Last one was a 5 hour; 61 stiches procedure. He and his staff were great. He explained everything as he went along; checked with me often to see how I was, etc. Kept me comfortable, engaged and happy. More

Five Stars - I've now had two Moh's surgeries with Dr. Smith, and he is absolutely top-drawer. Don't be fooled by the tough-guy surface: he's a warm, welcoming doc who also happens to do superb work. I gave him 5 stars for "spends time with me" even though my visits have been quite short. But they've been short because everything has gone well and there hasn't been much need for discussion, not because I've ever felt like I wasn't welcome to ask more questions or take more of his time.
